Got a refund and moved to another motel. Still enjoying the 15+ bites. Those bugs were hungry. :-(
All in all, a very good deal for the buck, in my opinion. Yeah, it's not the Days Inn, but it was cleaner than some of the Days Inn's that I have seen.... and much easier on the wallet - about half the price.
Just checked in and checked right back out! There was more blood on our mattress than I've seen in my life! Its gross and downright dangerous! Who leaves a bloody mattress in a hotel room! Yeah its cheap but needs to be condemned! When we got our money back she told us it was the housekeepers fault and that she would handle it. If there's blood on the mattress I'd be doing a whole lot more than passing the blame. Other than that the rooms are old and dilapidated!
The bed was clean and crisp.
No wifi.
The carpet was dry and free of stains.
Room looked nice enough. Worn, but working aircon, good wi-fi, lots of cable channels.
Unfortunately the bed was crawling with adult bed bugs. Got more and more itchy while watching tv on the bed. Checked the linnens and found 2 live bugs, one of which I presented to reception in a ziplock bag, so their pest control guy can identify it. It was bed bugs though.
Nice place to stay for the night...at a fair price.
Best price in the area by far. Older building but the furniture was new. Clean and comfortable. Friendly management.
The nonsmoking room did not smell of stale smoke; though there might have been a little smell, not sure.

The room had a microwave and fridge, a large tv, a table, two chairs, two nightstands, a mirror, a closet, and, of course, a bathroom. The tile in the bathroom was ceramic - clean on the main part, a little chipped in the shower stall, but all was clean and free of mildew as far as I could tell.
